Everyone wants to enjoy their summer, no matter what age you are. Seniors may be more limited on things they can do but they can have just as much fun. They can enjoy activities outdoors, in their homes, with family, and at their senior community where they are living. Summer is a great time for seniors, as being outdoors increases their vitamin D levels, which provided many health benefits. It also gets your body moving which is also good for your body and overall mobility.
When planning to go outside make sure you stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. Also do not forget your sunscreen and bring a hat to shade your face.
