Graduation season is here and its time for those of us who have children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to start thinking about what gift we will give our new graduate. This has been on my mind for a few months now as my son is about to graduate from college. I could not be prouder of him and want to get something special, something memorable, and that’s not always an easy gift to find. I have been doing my research and have come across a few items that might work and thought I would share what I have found.
Now we all have a budget and depending on what your relationship is with the graduate, may dictate how much you intend to spend. I have started with the less expensive gifts first.

I remember a few gifts from my graduations. A beautiful pearl necklace was the gift my parents blessed me with on my high school graduation. A very nice leather briefcase was given to me from my best friend and her mother for my college graduation. I still have both of those gifts. I can still remember getting them and the joy each gift brought. This is what I wish for my son. I want to give him something to remember and maybe something he will hold on to and look back many years from now and it will help him recall this special time in his life. I hope this list may help to spark some graduation gift ideas for others.
